Occupational Therapy

Whether you need support taking on the day, navigating your busy schedule or reaching your personal or professional goals, our expert occupational therapists can help.

An occupational therapist’s main goal is to maximise your health and wellbeing. In line with your NDIS plan, their advice and support can help you get where you want to go and do what needs doing.

They can help you with:

  • getting ready for the day
  • work and study activities
  • engaging with your community
  • catching up with friends and family
  • finding your ‘new normal’ after sustaining an injury or receiving a diagnosis for short or long-term illness or disability.

We will check with you regularly to ensure you’re getting the support you need to live independently and happily. Our philosophy of ‘Everything about you, with you’ comes to life through our occupational therapy services.

Your NDIS plan and occupational therapy

If you need occupational therapy because of your disability, you may be funded for this through your NDIS plan. Allied health services such as occupational therapy, dietetics and physiotherapy are usually funded under the ‘Improved Health and Wellbeing’ or ‘Improved Daily Living’ category of your NDIS Capacity Building Supports budget.

Functional Capacity Assessments

If you need a report to provide evidence to the NDIS of the funding or supports you need, our occupational therapists can complete a comprehensive assessment of your needs.
